A 10 day tour of Brittany starting with an overnight ferry crossing to St.Malo from Portsmouth.
We then drive south to our chateau hotel near Vannes in Southern Brittany where we stay for one night.
The next day we drive around the Golfe du Morbihan and visit Vannes, Carnac and Presqu’ile Quiberon before arriving at our new chateau hotel for the next 2 nights just south of Hennebont near Lorient.
The following day we visit Pont Aven a pretty town famous for the artists that it attracted in the 19th century. Our lunch stop is Concarneau on the coast.
On our 5th day we drive west to the Audierne peninsula where we have lunch before driving to Locoran one of France’s most beautiful villages. Our hotel, for the next two nights, is located nearby.
The following day we explore the adjacent Crozon peninsula.
On our 7th day we drive north-west to Ploumanach just north of Perros-Guirec where our hotel for the next three nights is located overlooking a picturesque bay.
The next day we explore the pretty coastal region to the west of Ploumanch.
On our 9th day we explore the pretty coastal region to the east of Ploumanch and visit the Isle de Brehat known as the flower island.
On our 10th day, our final day, we drive via St. Malo to Cherbourg to catch the afternoon ferry back to Portsmouth.
