Salon Privé 2015

The 10th running of Salon Privé 2015 this year held at the stunning Blenheim Palace was the most successful ever. With in excess of 11,000 visitors attending over the 3 days, the event lived up to it’s reputation as one of the finest motoring events of the year.

Various prizes were awarded throughout the event, a summary of which are shown below.

The Chubb Insurance Concours d’Elégance

Sponsored once again by Chubb Insurance, this year's event presented judges and guests with a sensational collection of rare, desirable and highly valuable motor cars and bikes, but in spite of stiff competition, it was the sublime Jaguar XK120 Jabbeke, owned by Mr Kurt A. Engelhorn, which was awarded the coveted 'Best of Show'. With a fabulous history, uniquely elegant in design and in perfect condition, it triumphed over what some considered to be a favourite, the stunning 1937 Delahaye 135MS Cabriolet, which went on to win the ‘People's Choice’ award and a special award for Most Elegant.

Best of Show: 1952 Jaguar XK 120 Jabbeke (Mr. Kurt A. Engelhorn)
