Salon Privé 2013

Choosing Boodles Ladies day again this year to visit Salon Privé , we were greeted with sunshine and blue skies as we entered the grounds of Syon House the beautiful home of The Duke of Northumberland and his family. Now in its 8th year, Andrew and David Bagley continue to develop this event year by year, and in 2013 a new Hypercar Collection featured the stunning Pagani Huayra and Koenigsegg Agera R, in a line up of stunning cars and a fabulous Riva Yacht, in fact wherever you look on the supercar lawn, your eyes fall on some of the finest cars available today, McLaren, Ginetta, Maserati, Infinity, Audi, Lexus, Radical,Ferrari,Spyker and Rolls Royce just some of the marques represented in this unique setting, With other well known exhibitors surrounding the lawn and with the magnificent house as a backdrop, it is difficult to think of a better setting for what is the ultimate garden party for true petrolheads.

Whilst browsing, a glass of champagne or wine in hand, the chefs are busilypreparing the Lobster lunch, excellent food and drink very much an integral part of the event, and with ample seating provided throughout the grounds, there is a sense of elegance at every turn, the shaded seating providing an ideal opportunity to sit and chat with fellow enthusiasts and friends old and new.

In addition to the 70 sports, luxury and super cars on the front lawn, there are 100 Concours entries on the back lawn, together with the luxury brands village, RCA design exhibition, and Art and Memorabilia Fayre, all of which elevate Salon Privé to the premier boutique automotive show in the British calendar, rivalling the best Concours and Super Car gatherings of the world.

A great addition this year was the Concepts & Prototypes display with some amazing cars on display
