F1 STAR FELIPE MASSA AND EX-WORLD CHAMPION DAMON HILL TO DRIVE TITLEWINNING WILLIAMS FW18 AT GOODWOOD

Williams Formula 1 star Felipe Massa and 1996 world champion Damon Hill will both drive at the Goodwood Festival of Speed with the legendary team on June 26-29.

The 2014 Festival of Speed theme is 'Addicted to Winning' and there can be few grand prix entrants more appropriate to this than Williams; its 114 victories and nine constructors' titles making it the third most-successful outfit in history.

Massa, who started last weekend's Austrian Grand Prix from pole position, will drive the FW18, which Hill famously took to the 1996 drivers' title, and which won 12 of the 16 GPs held that season, on the Saturday of the event.

A modern Williams Martini Racing F1 car will also be at Goodwood and will be situated in the F1 Paddock presented by Sky Sports for the duration of the event.
Hill, who took 21 grand prix wins, 20 pole positions, 19 fastest laps and 40 podium finishes with Williams, will also have a run-out on Goodwood's iconic 1.16-mile hill.

The British motor racing hero is the seventh F1 World Champion to be added to the Goodwood entry list, joining John Surtees, Sir Jackie Stewart, Emerson Fittipaldi, Kimi Raikkonen, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button.

Completing the Williams line-up will be reserve driver Felipe Nasr, the 2011 British Formula 3 champion, who is in contention for the GP2 title this year. The 21-year-old Brazilian will also get behind the wheel of the FW18 during the weekend.

Felipe Massa said: “This will be my first time back at Goodwood since 2003 when I drove the Ferrari F2002. It will be nice to go back as there is always a great atmosphere at Goodwood and it's a great event. I'm really happy to be able to get behind the wheel of one of the team's historic cars. It will be fantastic to drive such an incredible car as the FW18. I'm also looking forward to driving in front of all the amazing fans that have a true love of all motor sports.”
