Mike Conway tops second practice session ahead of the Paris ePrix

In a surprise that many of us didn't expect, Venturi Racing driver Mike Conway topped the second Practice session ahead of the Paris ePrix as everyone was still trying to get to grips with the new Paris circuit.

Conway ended the session 0.010s clear of DS Virgin's Jean-Eric Vergne, who will be hoping to take pole position at his home race later today. Vergne's team mate Sam Bird finished the session in third place ahead of Formula E championship leader Lucas di Grassi in fourth place, ahead of Stephane Sarrazinin fifth place and Mahindra racing driver Bruno Senna in sixth place.

Team Aguri driver Antonio Felix da Costa was half a second shy in seventh ahead of Nico Prost in eighth place with Robin Frijns and Daniel Abt rounding out the top ten positions.

The biggest surprise was Sebastien Buemi ending the session in a lowly 13th after setting the fastest time of first practice earlier today. But with only seven-tenths separated the top ten meaning the battle for the Super Pole shootout will be as tight as ever and qualifying will be exciting as a result of that.
