• Super Early Bird tickets on sale offering significant savings
• The perfect Christmas present for any car lover
• Golden Ticket prize draw for all those purchasing on 25 October
• Full spectrum of crowd-pleasing retro races to return
Tickets for next summer's special 30th anniversary Silverstone Classic go on sale on Friday 25 October with significant Super Early Bird savings for all those booking in 2019. Not only that, but for those purchasing their 2020 tickets before midnight on launch day, there is the not-to-be-missed opportunity to win an exclusive 'Golden Ticket'.
The ticket launch comes exactly two months before Christmas – a bonus for seeking the perfect festive gift – and nine months ahead of next summer's milestone Classic, the provisional dates for which are 31 July to 2 August.
A wide range of Super Early Bird tickets – priced at exactly the same level as last year's Super Early Bird tickets – will be available for those purchasing before the end of the year, representing savings of up to 25 per cent on the price of Standard tickets. Super Early Bird adult admission starts from just £35, with the price of the three-day weekend ticket frozen once again at £99.
As a further incentive, all those booking 2020 tickets before midnight on Friday 25 October will be entered into a special draw with the chance to win a 'Golden Ticket' with benefits ranging from a hot lap around the full Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on the Classic's Preview Day to a ride in a course car during the event. There's also the chance to win a Black Ticket, courtesy of the event's tyre partner, Yokohama HPT, with the winner receiving a full set of tyres.*
Full details of the on- and off-track family entertainment will be announced in the coming months but, as usual, the flat-out family fun at the Classic will include an unrivalled line-up of retro races, record-breaking car club anniversaries and special live music celebrations on both Friday and Saturday evenings for those rocking and racing at the Classic's 30thanniversary event.
The Classic sets the standard when it comes to showcasing the cream of global historic track action with close to 1,000 race entries dating back to the glorious heydays of Formula One, GT, Touring and Sports cars and, by popular demand, many of the regular crowd-pleasers will return in 2020.
Well-loved grids already confirmed include a pair of blue riband FIA Masters Historic F1 races; the Yokohama Trophy for FIA Masters Historic Sports Cars; the Historic Touring Car Challenge, and the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy for Historic Cars'. The packed grids of pre '66 Minis, which proved so popular last summer on the iconic car's 60th birthday, will also make a welcome and exciting return.
All tickets – which must be purchased in advance – will give access to both Classic racing paddocks, all open trackside grandstands, the live music concerts, fun fair rides and the vast majority of the family entertainment on offer.
