In the second practice session in Singapore, Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat topped the timesheets ahead of Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen and Daniel Ricciardo and is showing that he cannot be discounted for the championship as of yet.
During FP2, we saw in the first ten minutes of the session, we saw Will Stevens stopping on the circuit at Turn 14. Stevens lost the rear of the car into Turns 11 and 12 and as a result of this hit the barriers. This then brought out the Red Flags in order for the Manor to recovered from the track.
In the last ten minutes of the session, we saw Nico Rosberg pushing the limit after exiting Turn 18. When going into the corner, Rosberg locked up his outside wheel which left him having to reverse back onto the track.
But it was Daniil Kvyat who topped the timesheets with a lap time of 1.46.142 ahead of Ferrari driver Kimi Raikkonen in second place who was 0.039 seconds behind him but was ahead of Daniel Ricciardo who finished in third place who was 0.114 seconds behind the Red Bull of Kvyat.
Lewis Hamilton finished the session in fourth place ahead of Sebastian Vettel in fifth place, Sergio Perez in sixth place and Nico Rosberg in seventh place.
